Pelvic floor physiotherapy

The pelvic floor is the set of muscles found in the lower abdomen and pelvis. These are responsible for supporting the organs of this region and maintaining a balance with the other structures. Dysfunction of these muscles can lead to symptoms such as

* Lowering or falling of an internal organ due to the relaxation or distension of its fixation means.

The large most of these dysfunctions can be treated with physical therapy, improving symptoms and restoring functionality and confidence to patients who suffer from them.

Treatment consists of becoming aware of the anatomical region involved, analyze and correct body posture and normalize muscle tone of the pelvic floor and abdominal and lumbar muscles. For this, intra and extra cavitary manual therapy, myofascial techniques, massage, stretching, reprogramming of the muscles and postural hygiene will be applied.

With a good diagnosis of physiotherapy, a correct approach to the dysfunction and the constancy of the patient, the results will certainly be effective and rewarding.
